Join us at Northshire Bookstore on 2/8 from 2 to 4 pm for Metagraphs in Motion: Augmented Reality Book Signing and Gallery Reception - A Collaborative Event with Colin Goldberg, Northshire Bookstore, and Helmholz Fine Art.

The author and artist will be on hand to demonstrate and autograph copies of his book, a unique journey into the art of the 21st century. As the reader views the artworks of this book with a free mobile AR app, the artworks come to life, animating directly on the book's pages. This synthesis of the physical and digital realms creates a truly interactive experience, redefining the concept of a book in the digital era. Each AR work is preceded by a haiku that relates to the work.

The day continues with a Gallery Reception at Helmholz Fine Art from 4–6 PM, showcasing Goldberg’s augmented reality artworks, including Circuit, a one-of-a-kind 6x8 foot augmented reality artwork that debuted last summer at the Kingsborough Art Museum in Brooklyn. Guests will enjoy light bites and refreshments while engaging with the artist’s cutting-edge AR pieces. The reception is free and open to the public.
